Skydiving Hawaii
is it a good idea to move to hawaii for a few years after graduation?
I will be graduating Illinois State University in the end of the summer of 2008. I have always wanted to move to Hawaii for a brief time and enjoy my time there. I am going to become a firefighter eventually but would like to have some fun first. I am thinking about going to oahu and living in or near Waikiki area. I would like to stay there one or two years and do things such as skydive, surfing, scuba dive, hiking, etc and enjoy all of what Hawaii has to offer. I am 22 and will be 23 when I decide to do this. Would that be a good idea? I appreciate any advice outside my own. My family is saying I should save up here first then go, but I don’t want to be too tied down here before I go, I just want to go for a few years and come back not live there forever. I just want to save up enough money for a few months so I can find a job there. I think they just dont want me to go. Thanks for the replies.
